ha ha ,,not going for a charger as ur limited to about 290hp and they cost a fortune!!also i loved the way my 20vturbo rado pulled and want that turbo serg again(but on a bigger scale)

im building a gt35 turbo setup with 4" maf 440 injectors and maybe a charge cooler,,

going to do a stage 1 set up first for about 300whp then when i can afford it il go standalone management and up to 450hp but iv got alot of saving and research to do first to make sure i get the right bits first time

you doing it all ya self ? that will be mint id love to charge my vr but with 166k on the clock dont think she could cope with it

I know what you mean by the turbo surge, Thats why i like my 1.8t .

ye gonna do it all myself ,i like to know whats in my car and how it all works (for when it goes wrong)

fitted new compro nickle brake lines today ,still got to do the long front to rear lines on sat morning then its ready for mot and i can start saving and collecting vrt parts.....

only doing a basic setup to start with ,on vr6 management .. still doin lots of research !!!

passed its mot today really happy!!!!!

not updated for a wile ,,

i have refurbed my wheels and painted centres body colour now,tyres will be fitted tommorow

also off to pick up another vr6 engine to strip and build up as 450bhp turbo lump(will take a wile but it will happen asap)

will take some pics when its sat on its rims again ..

still havent got any pics to put up but whent to gti inters the other week ,was a great day but just as i got back into harrogate my steering started pulling hard to the left so my car is off the road at moment so wilst im changing the steering rack iv bought myself a 6 branch manifold ,de cat pipe and full magnex system ,,im trying to get it all sorted this week on the evenings,,gearbox cleaned and painted tonight tommorow will be rebuild steering rack then exhaust and finaly back together on thursday,,finnishing touches on saturday,,

Will it pass MOT with a decat? Or are you going to just swap the exhaust over for MOT's?

will have to just stick cat back on for mot,,not really a problem tho,,

decat will also give me a little more ground clearence as i cant even get my hand under the cat at moment

Did you get it back together to night,
would have poped over to lend a hand but had to finished brakes on Sprinter
before morning.

not going to make the fat tour,,and no cars not back together yet,,if the weather drys up a bit i should get a bit more done ....

cars still in bits waiting for new parts to arrive,,hope its all sorted for vw festival,,realy missing driving it too as im stuck with g friends punto

brand new steering rack arrived today only a few bits left now and it can all go back together
