| Sure does! Quite fun.. The caddy seams to be amazing on ice! I made it up a back road covered in black ice, from a standstill, (When I stopped on that road and got out I almost slid down it on my feet ) | |

| All a lack of maintanance Coppergrease on the moving parts on caliper, cables ... bit of oil (fine oil) in locks Silicone spray on all rubber seals And all will be well in the morning. Hot water and all that will make things worth. That water will go in all the places you dont realy want and freeze again and makes matters worth. If you do it, do it right | |

| Only problem I've had is the window fell into the door Went to wind it down, wound it down a bit, the window didn't move, so I was just about it wind it back up and it fell past the rail Fixed now though, Took off the door card and put it back in it's place | |

| Vw rear calipers are known to bind and seize. ( dont ask how i know)
Best is to have the wheels of, then caliper of then wind the piston back , a special tool is requiret for that if stuck, then make sure the small arm where the cable hooks in is free moving. Bit of service lube under the rubber seals will help there. Coppergrease and put back togeather . Fit wheels and make sure there turn freely, working the foot and handbrake on and of.
Hope that helps | |
